The Philanthropic, External and Alumni Relations Office in partnership with the Social Advocacy and Community Engagement Office conducted a tree planting activity in Leganes, Iloilo with the theme: “CARITAS FOR THE ENVIRONMENT: A Mangrove Tree-Planting Activity” last November 20, 2022. The said activity was participated by the alumni of the different colleges and departments.
The activity began with the blessing of the seedlings by Fr. John Louis S. Ricamora, OSA, the Director of the Philanthropic, External and Alumni Relations Office, then, followed by the orientation which was given by the Leganes Integrated Katunggan Ecopark (LIKE) staff. After which, the tree-planting proper followed.
Indeed, our beloved alumni supported one of the University’s eight advocacies, which is on the protection of the environment, through the mangrove tree planting activity. Madamo gid nga salamat, Golden Eagles! Viva San Agustin!
