The program formally opened with the invocation, national anthem, USA Hymn, and the Nursing Hymn, followed by an opening message delivered by Dean Louie P. Hijalda, PhD, RN. The dean welcomed the attendees and inspired the graduates to embrace their future professions with compassion, integrity, and commitment.

The event highlighted the inspirational presence of CNND alumni and esteemed professionals. Delivering the Inspirational Message were Judy Lyn Y. Dean Hijalda officially led the Confirmation of Candidates, affirming their academic completion, which was followed by the Imposition of Hoods assisted by parents or guardians, a symbolic act marking the transition from student to professional.

The graduates then took their Oath of Membership to the Alumni Association, led by Maria Victoria Mamerta Susbilla, RN, President of USANAA, marking their lifelong membership in the Augustinian alumni community.

A Tribute to Parents and Faculty of CNND was also offered, reflecting the heartfelt gratitude of the graduates to those who guided them throughout their academic life.

In her closing remarks, Ma’am Bernadette A. Gamosa, MAN, RN, Academic Supervisor of the Nursing Program, left the graduates with words of encouragement and hope. She reminded them, “Congratulations and well done. The world is out there, conquer it!”

The 47th Baccalaureate Ceremony was a testimony to the perseverance, unity, and calling of future Registered Nurses and Registered Nutritionist-Dietitians to serve the world with a compassionate and Augustinian heart.
