The Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA) has set a Remote Virtual Accreditation Visit for five academic programs of the University of San Agustin on January 11-12, 2022.
The five programs visited virtually include Bachelor of Library and Information Science from the College of Liberal Arts, Sciences, and Education, and the four programs under the College of Technology namely Bachelor of Science in Architecture, Bachelor of Interior Design, Bachelor of Fine Arts, and Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
The two-day remote virtual accreditation covered 10 areas: philosophy and objectives of the institution, organization and administration, faculty, instruction, laboratories, library, physical plant and facilities, student services and social orientation, community development and research which are considered vital in sustaining the quality educational services offered by the University of San Agustin.
Dr. Esther Vedaña, the chairman of the team of PACUCOA Accreditors, together with Dr. Lourdes Fumera, Dr. Edgar Chavez, Arch. Irene Florendo, Dr. Leronado Medina, Jr., Engr. Flordeliza Villaseñor, Dr. Glenn R. Andrin, and Mr. Aldwin Jose, assessed the 10 areas.
