Stories of Light: Honoring USACPA’s Legacy at the Chapel Lobby

At the lobby of the University of San Agustin Chapel, a stained-glass window greets every visitor with vibrant colors and quiet brilliance. More than an artwork, it stands as a living legacy of the University of San Agustin Catholic Parents Association (USACPA) 2017–2019, whose generous gift for the chapel’s restoration reflects their deep commitment to the Augustinian values of Unitas, Caritas, and Veritas. Their contribution continues to inspire, reminding the Augustinian community that faith and service endure across generations.

The light of USACPA’s generosity has touched countless lives through the years. The restored chapel remains a vital center of Campus Ministry and spiritual enrichment programs—a sacred space where students, personnel, and guests encounter God in prayer, silence, and song. True to USACPA’s mission of fostering collaboration between the University and its parents, their support has strengthened the bond between faith and family within the Augustinian community. The chapel also serves as a base for community outreach, justice and peace advocacies, and human rights education—programs that extend the Augustinian mission beyond the campus, transforming both hearts and communities.

By supporting the chapel’s restoration, USACPA gave more than a gift to a building—they renewed a spiritual home that anchors the Augustinian community in faith and action. This enduring partnership between parents and the University continues to inspire future benefactors to join the Legacy of Light Campaign (https://usa.edu.ph/legacy-of-light/) , ensuring that the flame of Augustinian faith and service shines brightly for generations.
