The gates of the University of San Agustin opened wide for the Class of 2029, but it wasn’t just another day—it was a powerful beginning. The College of Nursing, Nutrition, and Dietetics (CNND) welcomed its newest batch of student nurses and future nutritionists and dietitians with a dynamic departmental tour that marked more than orientation. It was a rite of passage into a community built on passion, purpose, and unity.
On July 14, 2025, the CNND launched its Departmental Tour in celebration of the freshmen’s first official day at USA. Spearheaded by the Nursing Student Council and the Nutrition and Dietetics Student Council, the event was a collaborative effort joined by Level 2 to Level 4 Nursing Level Council officers, dedicated student volunteers, and the supportive presence of CNND administrators.
With the themes “KuNars in Borderland” and “PBB: ND Edition,” the afternoon unfolded into an immersive experience that blended guidance with games, orientation with excitement, and information with inspiration.
The journey began with an opening program at 12:30 PM, followed by a campus tour at 1:00 PM. Every location—from Plaza de San Agustin, Gamboa Hall, the Nursing Arts Laboratory, and the ND Laboratory—was transformed into an interactive stop filled with challenges, laughter, and lively exchanges between the seniors and the freshmen.
This major event wouldn’t have been possible without the seamless teamwork between the NSC, NDSC, the CNND student leaders, and the ever-reliable faculty and administrators. Their shared goal was to make freshmen feel not just welcomed, but anchored—to make them feel that they already belong.
More than a tour, the event was a symbol of initiation. It marked the transition of every freshman from being a curious outsider to becoming a valued part of the CNND family. The challenges and games weren’t just for fun—they were a means to build rapport, foster friendships, and ignite a deeper sense of purpose and identity in every student.
Electric. Heartwarming. Memorable. From the chants echoing through Plaza de San Agustin, Gamboa Hall, and the USA Gym, the atmosphere was nothing short of magical. For the freshmen, each step was an introduction to a world of care, courage, and commitment. For the student leaders, it was a proud passing of the torch.
As one family, CNND has once again proven that starting strong means starting together. With vibrant spirits, warm guidance, and a bold welcome, the first day at USA 2025 is now etched in the hearts of everyone who took part.
Here, you’ve found your people. Here, you’ll write your story.
