UNIVERSITY OF SAN AGUSTIN CAMPUS MINISTRY OFFICE COMMENCES SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL ANNUAL RECOLLECTION FOR A.Y. 2026–2027

The Campus Ministry Office of the University of San Agustin officially commenced its Senior High School Annual Recollection for Academic Year 2026–2027 on June 29, 2026, marking the beginning of one of the University’s core spiritual formation programs for the Augustinian community.

Held at the DG Conference Hall, Formation Center, and the 6th Floor of Hotel Sta. Monica, the first day of the recollection gathered 114 Grade 12 students from STEM-A, STEM-B, and STEM-C. This year’s recollection centered on the theme “Discernment,” inviting students to reflect deeply on their faith journey, life choices, and relationship with God.

Designed to nurture the holistic development of Augustinian learners, the annual recollection provided participants with a meaningful opportunity to pause from their academic routines, engage in prayer and reflection, and deepen their spiritual lives. Through the session proper and group reflection activities, students were encouraged to strengthen their relationships with their classmates while fostering greater self-awareness and personal growth rooted in faith.

The afternoon program featured the Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession), allowing students to experience God’s mercy and forgiveness. While waiting for the sacrament, participants prayerfully recited the Holy Rosary, creating a solemn atmosphere of reflection and devotion.

The day’s activities concluded with the celebration of the Holy Mass, presided over by Rev. Fr. Glenn A. Macorol, OSA, bringing the recollection to a meaningful close through communal worship and thanksgiving.

As the first Senior High School Annual Recollection for A.Y. 2026–2027 came to an end, students left the experience feeling blessed, inspired, and grateful for the wisdom they had gained and the meaningful moments of faith, reflection, and fellowship that they will carry throughout the school year.

Viva San Agustin!
