On March 25, 2023, the University of San Agustin blessed its students and employees with new and improved office spaces across its campuses. The first stop was at the Basic Education Department (BED) Campus in Sambag, Iloilo City where Rev. Fr. Frederick C. Comendador, OSA headed the blessing of the fully renovated BED-Principal’s Office, Administrative Office, and the upgraded USA-BED Cafeteria. The improvement in the infrastructure and service areas of our BED Campus is a validation of the University of San Agustin’s thrust to ensure a harmonious and memorable learning experience for grade school and junior high school students.
While at the University of San Agustin, the main campus in General Luna St., Iloilo City, four newly refurbished offices were blessed: the Campus Ministry Office, the College of Technology Faculty Room, and Dean’s Office, the Performance Enhancement Center, and the USA Printing Press.
The new BED offices feature larger, more comfortable furnishing and modern equipment to provide a safe and secure workspace for staff members. The upgraded work tools allow staff members to work more efficiently, and the serene surroundings of the office contribute to a comfortable and motivated work environment.
The new canteen located in Sambag campus has welcomed students and faculty with improved dining spaces and better dining options. The dining hall is hygienic and spacious, fitted to accommodate their free time. The canteen provides a great place for students to get some snacks, take a break or just relax after a long day of classes.
The new Campus Ministry Office provides a comfortable working environment for the campus ministry team. The facility is designed to offer an environment of serenity and inspiration that’ll allow team members to work more efficiently. In addition, installing more rooms for counseling does more than ensure the teams’ safety in the face of emergencies; it helps streamline the ministry work.
The College of Technology offices house some of the most dedicated and motivated members of staff in the University. As such, these offices have been designed to inspire, motivate, and empower team members with the right tools they need to improve their job performance. The new facilities in the office are evidence of what the University is committed to – providing its employees with the resources they need to succeed.
The Printing Press Office is a hub for campus publications, where editors and other staff work diligently to produce several publications that reflect the University’s academic research and critical thinking in all fields of study. The transfer of the office enhances the efficiency and speed of the printing process, allowing staff members to offer quick turnaround times without compromising on quality.
The Performance Enhancement Center is a true blessing for athletes and fitness enthusiasts alike. Not only does it offer top-of-the-line equipment and facilities, but it also provides expert guidance and support to help individuals achieve their health and fitness goals. Whether you’re a seasoned athlete looking to up your game, or a beginner looking to get in shape, the Performance Enhancement Center has everything you need to succeed. From strength training and equipment to nutritional guidance and personal coaching, this sports gym center is a true haven for anyone seeking to improve their physical health and overall wellbeing.
These new facilities and technologies are helping the University to continue to provide the best education, services, and support to its students and staff members. More wide-scale upgrades such as these are being planned for the coming year and beyond, with a focus on continually upgrading and improving the University’s environment for everyone.
