The University of San Agustin ranked fifth among the top universities in the Western Visayas region and 83rd nationwide in the latest July 2024 Webometrics University Ranking.
This is an improvement from last year’s ranking, where the University placed sixth in the region and 88th at the national level.
The Webometrics Ranking of World Universities, also known as Ranking Web of Universities, is a ranking system for the world’s universities based on a composite indicator that takes into account both the volume of the Web content (number of web pages and files) and the visibility and impact of these web publications according to the number of external links (site citations they received).
The ranking is published by the Cybermetrics Lab, a Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) research group located in Madrid.
With the improved ranking, the university remains steadfast in its commitment to providing academic excellence in virtus et scientia.
