USA CNND Conducts General Orientations for Academic Year 2025 – 2026

The College of Nursing, Nutrition, and Dietetics (CNND) successfully conducted a series of orientations to formally welcome students and reinforce the academic and professional standards of the institution for Academic Year 2025–2026. These programs serve as an essential foundation in preparing students to embody the college’s mission of excellence in healthcare education.

The Nutrition and Dietetics (ND) Orientation 2025, held on July 16 at the University of San Agustin’s Hotel Sta. Monica, marked the official beginning of academic life for incoming freshmen. Rev. Fr. John Louis S. Ricamora, OSA, MAT, MN, RN, Dean of CNND, emphasized the Augustinian values of Unitas, Caritas, and Veritas as guiding principles for future Registered Nutritionist-Dietitians (RNDs). The event featured faculty introductions, a review of program policies, and the presentation of the Nutrition and Dietetics Student Council officers for AY 2025–2026.

On July 19, the CNND welcomed Level 1 nursing students and their parents to an orientation that outlined the academic structure, curriculum, and related learning experiences of the program. Faculty members set clear expectations for academic performance, professional conduct, and clinical readiness, while underscoring the integration of competence and compassionate care rooted in the values of Caritas, Unitas, and Veritas.

Batch Hygeia and Batch Seraphim held their general orientation on July 22, 2025. The session offered a detailed review of updated course requirements, clinical preparedness protocols, and student responsibilities. Faculty reinforced the program’s emphasis on professionalism, commitment, and academic excellence as key foundations of nursing education.

On August 2, 2025, Batch Illustris participated in an orientation designed to prepare them for their final year and the upcoming licensure examination. Representatives from BrainHub Review Center shared strategies and resources to support students in their journey toward becoming registered nurses. The orientation also highlighted the importance of upholding institutional standards, maintaining academic rigor, and embodying Augustinian values in professional practice.

Through these comprehensive orientation activities, the University of San Agustin–CNND reaffirms its commitment to cultivating a supportive and academically rigorous environment, ensuring that students are well-equipped to thrive in their chosen healthcare professions.
