Held at the University Main Chapel on November 16, 2025, the University of San Agustin, through its College of Nursing, Nutrition and Dietetics, conducted a Culminating Mass in celebration of Ilonggo Nurses Week 2025. The event was in line with Iloilo City Government Ordinance No. 2022-991, which officially designates the second week of November as Ilonggo Nurses Week, a tribute to the invaluable contributions of Ilonggo nurses to the healthcare system.
Students, academic staff, and alumni gathered in the chapel wearing the department’s color, green, as a symbol of unity, healing, and compassion, together with other nursing schools in Iloilo. Their shared presence reflected the strong sense of community within the College of Nursing, Nutrition and Dietetics as they came together to honor the dedication and service of Ilonggo nurses.
The celebration served as a heartfelt tribute to all Ilonggo nurses whose dedication, resilience, and compassion continue to uplift countless lives within the community and beyond. As the Mass concluded, gratitude filled the chapel, honoring not only the profession but also the people who embody its values every day. The event stood as a reminder that Ilonggo nurses are pillars of strength, faithfully carrying the torch of care, hope, and humanity. Their unwavering service remains a source of pride for the University of San Agustin and for the entire Iloilo community.
