Departmental masses reinforced the core Augustinian values of Caritas (Love), Unitas (Unity), and Veritas (Truth)—directly connecting academic life with spiritual intent. These departmental gatherings enabled colleagues and learners to cultivate meaningful relationships outside traditional learning spaces. By incorporating regular worship into busy routines, the university provided a vital outlet for reflection, rest, and burnout prevention.
