USA-CPMT Strengthens Academic Engagement with NYCU Colleges of Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences

The College of Pharmacy and Medical Technology (CPMT) of the University of San Agustin strengthened its international academic linkages through a benchmarking visit held on April 29, 2026 at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU) in Taiwan, focusing on advancing collaboration in pharmacy and biomedical sciences education.

The CPMT delegation engaged with representatives from NYCU’s College of Pharmacy and the College of Biotechnology and Laboratory Science in Medicine in a series of academic discussions centered on curriculum development, laboratory instruction, research initiatives, and quality assurance practices.

The visit provided a platform for both institutions to exchange best practices and identify potential areas for collaboration aimed at enhancing the quality and global relevance of pharmacy education and laboratory science training.

CPMT emphasized that the engagement aligns with its continuing efforts to strengthen academic excellence, innovation, and internationalization through strategic partnerships with leading institutions in the region.

The benchmarking activity forms part of CPMT’s broader initiative to foster global academic networks that support improvements in teaching, research, and professional training in the health sciences, contributing to the advancement of sustainable and inclusive quality education and health-related innovation.
