USA-HRMO Conducts Basic Orientation Course for Newly-Hired Personnel

The University of San Agustin, through its Human Resource Management Office (HRMO), successfully facilitated the Basic Orientation Course (BOC) for the University’s newly-hired personnel on January 14, 2025, at Hotel Sta. Monica. The activity aimed to orient new employees on the mandates, policies, and services of the University’s key offices, ensuring a smooth transition into the Augustinian academic community.

In his opening remarks, Rev. Fr. Arnel S. Dizon, OSA, University President, emphasized the importance of embracing Augustinian culture, describing the University as a “community of persons, believers and nation builders.” He encouraged the new personnel to imbibe Augustinian values as they take part in the University’s mission of education, service, and societal transformation.

The orientation featured various speakers from different University units who shared essential information on institutional policies, employee responsibilities, and support systems. Their inputs provided the participants with a comprehensive understanding of the University’s operations and expectations.

Attended by newly-hired personnel from different offices, the BOC served not only as an informative session but also as a meaningful introduction to the shared identity and values of the Augustinian community. Through this initiative, the University reaffirms its commitment to forming competent, value-driven, and mission-oriented employees.
