The University of San Agustin (USA) once again demonstrated its athletic excellence as both the Men’s and Women’s Basketball Teams (Tertiary Level) captured the Gold Medal at the Iloilo PRISAA Meet 2026.
In a display of skill, teamwork, and championship composure, the USA Women’s Basketball Team dominated the court to secure their place at the top podium. Their victory reflects months of disciplined training, strategic execution, and unwavering determination. Guiding the team to triumph were Head Coach Demosthenes Toledo and Assistant Coach Marian Beatriz Adigue, whose leadership proved instrumental in the team’s golden finish.
Equally formidable, the USA Men’s Basketball Team showcased grit and resilience throughout the tournament, ultimately clinching the gold medal in a hard-fought campaign. Under the leadership of Head Coach Jay Jonic Pisueña, alongside Assistant Coaches Gerardo Mosquera and Julius David, the team delivered a performance worthy of champions.
Both teams’ victories not only highlight the strength of USA’s athletic program but also embody the Augustinian values of excellence, unity, and perseverance. Their achievements brought pride and celebration to the entire Augustinian community, reaffirming the University’s strong presence in regional collegiate sports.
As the gold medals shine brightly, they symbolize more than victory—they represent dedication, sacrifice, and the relentless pursuit of excellence.
Congratulations, Augustinians! Viva San Agustin!
