The University of San Agustin (USA) remains the top-performing school in Western Visayas following the results of the August 2024 Medical Technologists Licensure Examination (MTLE).
In the latest release of the August 2024 MTLE results by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), USA ranks 10th with a 90.19% passing rate among the top-performing schools in the Philippines with 50 or more examinees and with at least 90% passing percentage. From a total of 258 takers, 239 passed the licensure examination and two of them are topnotchers.
Dovy Galvez Dichoson ranked 6th with a rating of 91.00% while Kristia Madel Crucero ranked 8th with a 90.80% rating.
For several years, the Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science (BS MLS) program of the College of Pharmacy and Medical Technology, formerly called the BS in Medical Technology, has been consistent in producing topnotchers and ranking nationwide in the Medical Technologist licensure examinations highlighting the program’s excellent academic standards and commitment to quality education.
Under the same college, the Pharmacy program is also known for its high-performance rating in the board examinations.
