USA RECOGNIZED AS A DEREGULATED PRIVATE HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTION BY CHED

The University of San Agustin (USA) has been awarded Deregulated Status by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) during a ceremony on November 24, 2024, at the Philippine International Convention Center. This recognition places USA among 92 private institutions nationwide acknowledged for outstanding academic performance, institutional stability, and program excellence. 

Fr. Jonas M. Mejares, OSA, (Acting President representing the University President Fr. Arnel S. Dizon, OSA and the Vice President for Augustinian Formation and Mission) Fr. Aimark P. Asor, OSA, (Vice President for Administration and Finance) and Dr. Regina Aileen May V. Vergara (Vice President for Academic Affairs) received the award on behalf of the University.

Valid until September 2027, this status affirms USA’s commitment to delivering quality education guided by its core values of Unitas, Caritas, Veritas, and Virtus et Scientia. It also strengthens USA’s role as a leader in higher education, providing transformative learning experiences that prepare students for global challenges.

This milestone is a testament to the collective dedication of the USA community to academic excellence and innovation, shaping leaders in the Augustinian tradition.
