USA to host Asian Youth Theater Festival

Last Friday, September 08, 2023, the USA Little Theater, the resident theater company of the University of San Agustin (USA), in collaboration with the Teatro Guidengan and Youth Advocates Through Theater Arts (YATTA), launched a press release of the Asian Youth Theater Festival 2023 to be held from November 22 to 26 this year, following its press conference at the USA CPMT Building on that same day. 

Welcoming all Asian talents from thirteen (13) countries including Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines, the five-day event promises to be a cultural festival that will be primarily held at the USA Auditorium. 

With its theme “Weaving Hope”, 20 plays to show, workshops, and plenary sessions, the Ilonggos, and the rest of the Philippines, are excited to witness and showcase this historic event celebrating passion for theater arts in this historic cultural event on the occasion of the University’s 120th Jubilee.
