We congratulate Ma. Jane P. Villanueva, MILE, MPH, LPT, RN, our Public Health Nursing Coordinator, for actively participating during the recently concluded Science, Technology, and Innovation National Pitching Competition on Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 2025 held at the University of San Agustin, Iloilo City, on October 24, 2025.
Ms. Villanueva presented her research study titled “Leachate as a Substrate for Microbial Biofuel Cells” under the professional category. The event was organized by the Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT), the Samahang Pisika ng Visayas at Mindanao (SPVM), and the University of San Agustin, in partnership with the Yuchengco Center and Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University.
As the College of Nursing, Nutrition and Dietetics (CNND) continues to strive to fulfill its mandate and quality objective of promoting academic excellence through research for the common good, all CNND stakeholders are strongly encouraged to engage in meaningful research that benefits the greater good.
