About AFM

The office of the Vice President for Augustinian Formation and Mission (VPAFM) is primarily responsible for the overall management of the operations and activities of the institution in relation to Augustinian formation and mission. The office is also tasked with the development of the faith formation program of the University stakeholders in three dimensions: doctrine, moral, and worship, integrating the Augustinian precepts, charism, and core values of Unitas, Caritas, and Veritas.

There are five (5) offices under the umbrella of the Office of the Vice President for Augustinian Formation and Mission:  Campus Ministry Office (CMO), Center for Religious Studies (CRS), Guidance Services and Testing Center (GSTC), Social Advocacy and Community Engagement Office (SACEO) and Student Affairs and Welfare Office (SAWO).

Nurturing Augustinian Formation and Mission

Nurturing Augustinian Formation and Mission

Our institution is deeply committed to the holistic formation of students, guiding them to grow in faith, knowledge, and service. This mission is carried out through the Office of the Vice President for Augustinian Formation and Mission, which unites five offices that together embody the Augustinian values of faith, service, and community.

The Campus Ministry serves as a center of spiritual life, offering liturgical celebrations, recollections, retreats, sacraments, spiritual talks, and pastoral programs like Agustino Tayo. Alongside this, the Center for Religious Studies (CRS) strengthens Christian Human Formation from elementary to senior high school and promotes Augustinian Studies at the college level.

Supporting students in their personal and academic journey, the Guidance Services and Testing Center provides holistic care through the CARES framework—Curriculum, Appraisal, Responsive Services, Evaluation and Research, and System Support.

Beyond the campus, the Social Advocacy and Community Engagement Office empowers students and partners to serve society through initiatives such as the Tilipunan Community Development Program, Agustino Para sa Tao, the Augustinian Service Learning Program, and disaster response efforts under CARES.

Finally, the Student Affairs and Welfare Office fosters growth in arts and culture, environmental responsibility, research, sports and wellness, academic excellence, and leadership. Together, these offices form one mission: to shape well-rounded individuals who live out the Augustinian spirit and are prepared to lead and serve in a changing world.
