The University of San Agustin Gym transformed into a festive Winter Wonderland on December 17, 2025, as academic personnel, non-academic staff, and maintenance workers gathered to celebrate the Christmas season and honor a year of shared dedication.
The afternoon began with a prayer, setting a tone of gratitude and reflection. What followed was pure joy—community dancing that saw colleagues from across departments moving together, their laughter filling the gym. The raffle draw added excitement, but the highlight belonged to the USA TikTok Dance Challenge, where nine teams showcased their creativity through viral dance hits mixed with Christmas classics.
The College of Liberal Arts, Sciences, and Education claimed first place with an impressive performance, while the College of Commerce secured second and the Colleges of Technology and Criminal Justice took third. Other participating units brought their own energy: Non-Academic Personnel & Maintenance with the College of Law, Academic Non-Teaching staff from LRC & GSTC with the Center for Religious Studies, the Colleges of Nursing, Nutrition and Dietetics, College of Pharmacy and Medical Technology and the Basic Education Department’s various divisions all contributed to an afternoon celebrating unity in diversity.
Beyond the festivities, the gathering carried deeper significance. The Christmas season offered a moment to acknowledge the dedication woven into every aspect of university life—from maintenance staff preparing classrooms to faculty shaping young minds. This past year brought challenges, but the USA community met them with resilience and collective determination.
The celebration reminded everyone that the institution’s strength lies not just in its programs, but in the people who bring its mission to life daily. As employees prepared for the holiday break, there was a palpable sense of renewal—bonds reinforced, gratitude expressed, and spirits lifted.
