Welcome Message for the Opening of the Academic Year 2026-2027
Dear friends and fellow Augustinians, welcome to the premier Catholic University of San Agustin, Iloilo City.
Together, we consistently embark on an academic cycle grounded in the institutional vision-mission pathway. Guided by the University’s strategy map, maSanAg 2028, the Augustinian educative community welcomes everyone to chart their individual and collective journeys of learning, growth, and communion. Every undertaking begins with the human person and recognizes where each person is in the present so that we may realize our shared long-term vision in realizing our highest potential – the Augustinian transformative education and training. As we set our sights on our desired future state, the university community clearly acknowledges the conditions of the moment.
Our priority agenda aligns with and supports the building up of the scaffolds of knowledge, love, and unity within the organization and beyond its confines. The building up of a culture marked by excellence, innovation, and collaboration takes full precedence in the organizational planning; a legacy of quality education holds a principal task to work on continuously and sustainably.
